About Me

My three year aprentiship in Stone masonry was followed by a one year Pre Foundation Fine Art course where I worked mainly with mixed media, this Progressed to studying for three years at the University of Northumberland taking B.A.(Hons) Fine Art (Sculpture), working again in mixed media but this time with a strong empasis towards stone. Since graduating in 1983 I have been working Freelance as a Carver/lettercutter in the South of England. I would like to share my experiences and possibly help to encourage people who show an interest in learning the art of carving/sculpture and lettercarving.
